WORST UFC PPV EVER! Anderson Silva should only fight at Light Heavyweight because his last 3 Middleweight title defenses were the worst fights in the history of combat sports. I saw this event LIVE. After I saw it I was really mad and I thought Silva should get fired for screwing the fans by clowning around and Maia should get fired for sucking so bad he could not even take out a dancing mildly insane fool (that Silva was being then). If Anderson disrespected me like that I would at least try to punish him for it. For that Maia should get fired but since Anderson may have been trying to get fired (so he could fight Fedor) he should not be. He should get stripped of his title and forced to fight his friend, Lyoto Machida for his title. Dana should not sign Silva to a new contract
    after his current one ends.

Highly unlikely Dana will fire the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world on most rankings. It will be interesting to see what will happen in the near future though.

noone is getting fired. IF either guy is let go then Strikeforce will pounce on them and the UFC 185 and most of the 205 would have zero credibility. Strike force would have the leverage they want. You dont release Silva until you get him beat atleast twice. If you have 2 guys who beat him then it wouldnt matter who he went to because you can claim he is washed up. He atleast needs to pass the torch before cutting him. You dont release champs. osing champs kills divisions and there has been many examples of this already in MMA history.

Agreed, Dana can’t risk losing Silva. Worst case scenario is Dana goes through with his threat and puts Silva on the undercard for the rest of his 7 fight contract. Why Anderson signed an extension is beyond me if he hates MMA so much or is bored.
