TUF 10, Episode 11: Ratings

December 4, 2009 by Kelsey Philpott 1 Comment

The final episode of The Ultimate Fighter 10: Heavyweights was a special two-hour, double-fight program that did a 1.9 HH rating for an average audience of 2.6 million. It was also the highest rated program on television with regard to the M18-34 demographic, garnering a 3.2.

Here’s a look at the ratings for the year:

TUF 10 Overall M18-34 M18-49
Episode 1 2.9 5.3 4.3
Episode 2 2.2 4.2 3.2
Episode 3 3.7 6.9 5.4
Episode 4 2.2 3.8 2.4
Episode 5 2.2 3.3 2.9
Episode 6 2.1 3.3 2.8
Episode 7 1.9 3.6 2.8
Episode 8 1.8 3.1 2.6
Episode 9 1.7 3.2 2.6
Episode 10 1.76 2.9 2.5
Episode 11 1.9 3.2 2.6
Season Ave. 2.2 3.9 3.1
Season Med. 2.2 3.6 2.8

From a ratings perspective, all eyes are on Saturday night to see what Kimbo Slice’s first real fight in the UFC is going to produce for the organization. It’ll do very well, but given how little time the UFC had to promote UFC 106 – and then seeing what it did for buys (360,000) – you have to wonder whether the short promo time will hamper this TUF Finale effort as well.

That’s a pretty good uptick. Expecting a big number for the weekend finale.
