Sportsnet will have even more MMA action with a preview show entitled UFC 97: Countdown Canada on Saturday April 18 at 9:00 p.m. (ET)/6:00 p.m. (PT).

Sportsnet Connected’s own RJ Broadhead will be hosting the show from the Sportsnet Studios while “Showdown” Joe Ferraro will be at the Bell Centre in Montreal.

Features during the hour-long show include St-Pierre discussing whether he can wrestle the “best pound for pound fighter” moniker from Middleweight champ Anderson “The Spider” Silva, a no-holds barred interview with UFC President Dana White and a preview of the night’s highly anticipated bout between Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and Mauricia “Shogun” Rua fight.
