Payout Perspective:
The main event was anticlimactic but the event in total was great to watch. The promotion of the fight picked up due to the inclusion of The Rock and the news that President Trump would attend. The buzz was so big for UFC 244, that DAZN decided to hold the Canelo-Kovalev fight until the conclusion of the UFC main event. The UFC probably did well in the PPV market due to the hype behind the main event.
