Angela Hill tests positive for COVID-19, fight this Saturday off

December 6, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The UFC 256 Prelims took a hit as Angela Hill announced on social media that she has tested positive for COVID-19 and her fight this Saturday against Tecia Torres has been pulled from the fight card.

Hill and Torres were to be the feature event on the UFC Prelims prior to the main card.

Tested positive for Covid and won’t be fighting next week. Tried to stay as safe as possible during fightcamp but with mma training there’s virtually no social distancing. Was looking forward to running it back, maybe in the near future. #CovidFuckingUpEveryonesSeason #UFC256 pic.twitter.com/karOTjqZO2

Payout Perspective:

This past Saturday, three fights were postponed due to positive COVID-19 tests. This weekend’s UFC 256 has been affected by coronavirus as well with reshuffling of fights.  Notably, Kevin Holland who had tested positive for COVID-19 is back and will face Jacare Souza.  You might recall that Souza was the first UFC fighter to test positive for coronavirus back in May.
