Payout Perspective:
Michael Chiesa is forfeiting 30% of his purse to Anthony Pettis due to not making weight. Pettis is making a gaudy $135,000 to show and $135,000 to win plus Chiesa’s $14,400 which will have him nearing $300,000 if he wins. The co-main event of Ngannou and Lewis drew the second-highest payout on the card with Ngannou having a chance for $200K and Lewis at $260,000. It goes to show that the heavyweight division is the big-pay division.
