Moraes leads fighter roster of payouts for UFC Fight Night 123

MMA Junkie reports the payouts from this Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 123.  Marlon Moraes took home the highest disclosed payout of $146,000.

Moraes knocked out Aljamain Sterling with a knee.  For his troubles, Sterling earned $36,000.  Brian Ortega received $68,000 including a $29,000 bonus and Cub Swanson earned $76,000.

The payouts were disclosed by the California State Athletic Commission:

Brian Ortega: $58,000 (includes $29,000 win bonus)

Gabriel Benitez: $28,000 (includes $14,000 win bonus)
def. Jason Knight: $31,000

Marlon Moraes : $146,000 (includes $73,000 win bonus)
def. Aljamain Sterling: $36,000

Scott Holtzman: $40,000 (includes $20,000 win bonus)
def. Darrell Horcher: $15,000

Eryk Anders: $28,000 (includes $14,000 win bonus)
def. Markus Perez: $12,000

Alexis Davis: $64,000 (includes $32,000 win bonus)

Payout Perspective:

The total payroll for the event was $866,000 with the former WSOF champ making almost $200,000 with the inclusion of his $50,000 Performance Bonus.  Moraes was making $90K and $90K with WSOF, but there’s likely more room to grow (read: make more money in the longrun) in the UFC.
