Trebilcock Comments on KOTC’s Future

November 17, 2008 by Staff

MMAPayout.com recently spoke with King of the Cage President Terry Trebilcock about the future of KOTC. The promotion’s future has come into question in light of ProElite’s apparent demise. Trerbilcock raised eyebrows in a recent interview with MMAWeekly.com in which he raised the possibility of ProElite and CBS/Showtime resolving their differences and King of Cage taking over the network time slot vacated by EliteXC.

“All options are still open at this time,” Trebilcock told MMAPayout.com. “It’s business as usual for King of the Cage and we are always working to expand our broadcast platforms. Whether its CBS, Showtime, FOX Sports or another platform, we expect to expand in early 2009.”

Trebilcock also confirmed that King of the Cage remains a wholly owned subsidiary of ProElite at this time.
