Top Rank finds a new media home

March 16, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Top Rank Boxing will now air on DAZN according to multiple reports. The license agreement with DAZN is the first media deal since it left ESPN last year.

The deal is for DAZN to pay a license fee of $1M to $1.25M per event.

Top Rank had been in discussions for a media deal since its ESPN exit but nothing had materialized.

DAZN is bulking up its boxing content with the Top Rank deal. It already has Matchroom Boxing and had been working with Golden Boy. Notably, the Victor Ortiz-Golden Boy lawsuit highlighted the fact that DAZN’s contract with Golden Boy came to end in 2025 but the two sides were still working together and negotiating “one-offs.” If Golden Boy were to come to terms on a long-term broadcast deal, it could produce a strong lineup of boxing for the streamer to compete (in some form) with the new Zuffa Boxing.
