Golden Boy programming finds a home

January 30, 2026 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Boxing Scene reports that Oscar De La Hoya has signed a multi-year deal with Swerve TV.

Swerve TV is a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) provider found on many platforms including Rokio, Fubio TV, Prime Video and more. Unlike Subscription Video on Demand, there is no cost and unlike Ad-supported Video on Demand there it relies on “traditional, scheduled, channel-surfing format. If you were to look, the UFC has a FAST channel which runs reruns of old events and shoulder programming.

Swerve TV will show undercard live coverage but De La Hoya is still negotiating with DAZN over a streaming home. Recently, Vergil Ortiz filed a lawsuit against Golden Boy based on the premise that the promotion could not promote him as promised due to a lack of a home for their fights.

Payout Perspective:

The news isn’t what many boxing fans were looking for and if you were to ask GB executives, its probably not the landing spot it wants. However, the location provides a home for the promotion’s events. We will see if Golden Boy can land a deal with DAZN.
