Iasmin Lucindo has accepted a 9 month suspension for a violation of the company’s anti-doping policy.
The 24-year-old Brazilian tested for mesterolone, an anabolic steroid that is primarily used to treat low testosterone and male infertility, from an out-of-competition sample collected Sept. 24, 2025 in Brazil.
The report from Combat Sports Anti-Doping concludes that Lucindo did not intentionally take the banned substance to gain a competitive advantage. She also complied with the investigation.
She cooperated fully with CSAD’s investigation, including submitting to a detailed interview and providing official government documentation from a Brazilian pharmacy where she obtained compounded dietary supplements prior to the adverse finding. The documentation indicated that the pharmacy regularly compounded products containing mesterolone and could not rule out the possibility that legal dietary supplements provided to Lucindo Bezerra may have been inadvertently contaminated with mesterolone.
Her fight with Gillian Robertson at UFC on ESPN 73 was scrapped.
Notably, Lucindo provided a negative drug sample in August 2025 and again in October 2025. However, the September 2025 sample showed low levels of the banned substance. However, CSAD could not trace it to a contaminated substance from the compound pharmacy.
Compound pharmacies create medications and supplements themselves. Hence, the potential to have a substance tainted.
