TKO heads to SLC in 2026 in new deal with city

August 26, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

On Tuesday, TKO announced a deal in which it would have its UFC and WWE hold events in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2026.

The events are planned to be held at the Delta Center, home of the Utah Jazz and the Utah Mammoth. The UFC event is a “numbered” event which means it will be one of the big 13 events the promotion holds annually.

The WWE will bookend the UFC event with Saturday Night’s Main Event and Smackdown shows at the Delta Center.

This past April, TKO held a PBR event, UFC Fight Night and Raw event in Kansas City. It was entitled the, “TKO Takeover,” and sponsored by VeChain. No word on sponsor for this weekend in Utah but there’s always time.

The UFC had been a mainstay for a UFC event in Salt Lake City having held a “numbered” event in August 2022, 2023 and October 2024. It also will hold WWE events Smackdown and Raw in October of this year.
