All Elite Wrestling is being called out by local workers in Philadelphia for underpaying contractors as it enters its three week residency at the old ECW Arena.

Local 8 is taking action in Philadelphia!
This week, IATSE Local 8 members are out in force to inform the public that All Elite Wrestling (AEW) events in Philadelphia are failing to meet area standards by paying substandard wages and benefits.
When employers undercut these standards it threatens wages, benefits, and job opportunities for all entertainment workers in the community.
We stand in solidarity with our Local 8 kin as they hold employers accountable and fight to protect the fair standards that IATSE members deserve!
Notably, AEW is embroiled in a lawsuit filed by a production crew member in Detroit after an incident where Jon Moxley pushed him without it being in the script. Crew members are not employees of AEW but contracted by the company to provide production work during events at the local arena.
The outcry by IATSE comes ahead of AEW’s three-week residency in Philadelphia. The company has set up its shows in different arenas for several weeks. It has done this in Texas and most notably used Daly’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida.
While AEW has distinguished itself as the more open, liberal company than WWE which has ties to the Trump organization, this news is bad publicity for AEW as it starts its residency in Philadelphia on Wednesday.
