Paul-JCC salaries disclosed by California

July 1, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The California State Athletic Commission disclosed salaries from the boxing event featuring Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Notably, Paul earned just $300,000 for his main event victory over JCC, Jr.

Obviously, Paul’s salary was not the tops but since his company was the promoter of the event I don’t think he’s going to be mad. His opponent, Julio Cesar Chavez earned $750,000 for the fight while Paul earned $300,000.

The one fighter that raked in the money was Gilberto Ramirez who earned $1.5 million for his fight against Yuniel Dorticos who earned $300,000. Ramirez won a unanimous decision over Dorticos to retain his WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles.

The rest of the payouts are as follows:

Victor Rodriguez $65,000 – Raul Curiel $125,000

Julian Rodriguez $30,000 – Avious Griffin $30,000

Tevin Farmer $125,000 – Floyd Schofield $125,000

Yolanda Vega $22,000 – Holly Holm $100,000

Kevin Johnson $10,000 – Joel Iriarte $10,000

Vincent Avina $14,000 – Alexander Gueche $8,000

Dominic Hardy $6,000 – Joshua Edwards $8,000

Rene Alvarado $25,000 – Victor Morales Jr. $60,000

Josue Morales $18,000 – John Ramires $50,000
