WWE returns to Australia for takeover weekend

May 4, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

On Friday, WWE announced that it was returning to Perth, Australia for a weekend of events including a Premium Live Event, Crown Jewel: Perth.

The events will begin with Friday Night Smackdown on October 10th and end with Monday Night Raw on October 13th. On Saturday, October 11th, Crown Jewel: Perth will be the featured event from the RAC Arena.

The Saturday night feature event will stream on Peacock while Smackdown will air on the USA Network. Raw will close out the festivities on Netflix.

To kick off the festivities Rhea Ripley and Grayson Waller were in Australia to make the announcement and do a promotional tour.

Priority Pass ticket packages (which are very pricey) will be available from On Location.

The globalization of the TKO footprint continues and I would argue it has expanded faster and further than the UFC. Its the first non-Saudi Arabia event dubbed a “Crown Jewel.”
