April 18, 2025 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Jake Paul announced that his next fight will be against Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. The fight will take place June 28th at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.

After unsuccessfully securing a fight with Canelo Alvarez, Paul took a shot at him in his announcement. “…I’m going against a former champion who conman Canelo couldn’t finish,” making reference tot he fight with JCC.

Payout Perspective:

Coming off a Netflix fight with Mike Tyson, Paul returns to DAZN to face probably one of the most disappointing second generation boxers in the history of boxing. Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. has had so many opportunities, but has shown to either not care or is overrated. The selling of the fight will likely center around trying to bait Canelo Alvarez into a fight sometime down the road.
