McGregor says he will box Logan Paul in India

December 17, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Conor McGregor announced via social media that he has agreed to a boxing match with Logan Paul which will be held in India. No details on venue or date as of Tuesday night.

The rumors of a bout with topurio are false. I am in preliminary agreements with the Ambani family to face Logan Paul in a boxing exhibition in India.
I have agreed.
I will then seek my return to the Octagon.

Paul, has four exhibition fights including one with Floyd Mayweather and another against MMA fighter Dillon Danis. His most recent time in the public, he was pro wrestling in WWE. His last appearance in a WWE ring was a loss to LA Knight (dropping the US title) at Summerslam.

McGregor’s last boxing match was against Floyd Mayweather in 2017. It was one of the biggest money generating events in combat sports history. McGregor lost by stoppage in the 10th round of a fight mainly carried by Mayweather.

Recently, McGregor was found guilty of sexual assault by a civil court in Dublin Ireland stemming from an encounter in 2018. He was ordered to pay $260,000 (USD) and more than a $1 million in legal costs. McGregor vows to appeal the verdict.

McGregor’s last fight was in the Octagon in July 2021, a loss to Dustin Poirier in which he broke his leg.
