Jones’ charges dismissed in assault case

October 30, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Jon Jones’ latest legal problems are no more. Jones’ legal representation came to an agreement with prosecutors for dismissal of his charges.

Upon completion of four hours of anger management courses and stays out of legal trouble for the next 90 days, the two misdemeanor charges of assault and interference will be dismissed. The charges relate to an altercation between Jones at his residence and two Drug Free Sport International representatives. The March 30th incident had the agents show up at Jones’ residence to take test for the former UFC champion. One of the agents accused Jones of threatening her and taking her phone.

Jones issued a statement via X which basically indicated that he was happy it was over. He fights November 16th against Stipe Miocic at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
