McMahon attempted to purchase Netflix documentary

Vince McMahon is unhappy with his portrayal in the upcoming Netflix documentary series, “Mr. McMahon.” According to a report from Puck, the former WWE head attempted to purchase the series to avoid it from being seen by the public.

The Puck report states that the ousted Chairman asked Endeavor CEO Ari Emanuel to voice concern over the documentary and how it depicted McMahon.

McMahon is currently embroiled in a lawsuit with Janel Grant in which he is being accused of sexual assault in an alleged affair with the plaintiff. Grant has hired a public relations firm ahead of the documentary to tell her side of the story.

WWE Raw will debut on Netflix in January 2025 as part of a 10 year-$5 billion deal.
