Dan Rafael reports that the Tank Davis-Frank Martin fight on June 15 sold between 325K and 350K PPV buys per his sources.
According to Rafael, the PPV buys are across all platforms for PBC (i.e., linear and online). The PPV sold for $74.95 in the U.S. The telecast would have grossed $24.3M on the conservative end and over $26 million if its on the top end.
Davis disposed of Martin in the 8th round giving the challenger the first loss of his career.
On the undercard, David Benavidez made another case for him to fight Canelo Alvarez with a win over Oleksandr Gvozdyk.
Payout Perspective:
The report of the PPV buys is promising and shows that Davis is a PPV draw. While it may not be 1M buys like his fight with Ryan Garcia, Davis is drawing based on his fight style and ability to stop his opponents.
