The UFC 300 PPV Prelims on ESPN drew 1.864 million viewers per Sports Media Watch. The early prelims drew 1.214 million viewers.
One of the biggest cards in some time, UFC 300 came through with some big ratings. The early prelims on ESPN drew 707,000 (0.6) in the A18-49 demo and the prelims drew 1.131 million viewers (0.9) in the A18-49 demo.
The Prelims finished second overall in sports viewership to the third round of The Masters on CBS. The early prelims was fourth overall. In terms of cable sports viewership, the UFC PPV Prelims finished 1st and early prelims which preceded it, second.
The feature bout of the prelims saw Jiri Prochazka defeat Alexsandar Rakic via TKO in the second round. The early prelims saw Renato Moicano take out Jalin Turner via strikes in the second round. Both telecasts had great performances and finishes. It was the start of a very big evening for the company as Dana White projected 1 million PPV buys for UFC 300.
