A local Albuquerque news outlet first reported that the Albuquerque Police Department responded to a report that an individual attempting to collect a drug test from the former UFC champion that he had threatened to kill him.

The individual was from Drug Free International Sport, the agency that took over the drug testing and enforcement process for the UFC at the start of the year. The report from the outlet states that Jones appeared to be intoxicated. The report indicates that Jones attempted to take the tester’s pone.

Jones responded Saturday on Instagram and has included video footage purported to be the tester at his home. In what appears to be security camera footage, Jones looks to be amicable talking to the tester as he was leaving his residence.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the long and winding troubles for Jones. There are a ton of incidents which have been reported on and gone away in Jones’ career which has tarnished a Hall of Fame career inside the Octagon.
