WWE World set for Wrestlemania

February 19, 2024 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE and Fanatics Events announced WWE World at Wrestlemania. A five-day convention centered around WWE’s biggest weekend of its year.

The interactive fan event will take place Thursday, April 4 through Monday, April 8 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The company usually holds such events but this time Fanatics Events has repackaged the presentations. As in past Wrestlemanias, it includes the WWE Superstore, WWE 2K24 gaming tournaments, WWE talent appearances, podcasts and roundtable discussions. As it has done in the past, it will hold live memorabilia and autography sales through Fanatics Live.

The weekend will include all of WWE’s events occurring around the 5 days: WWE Friday Night Smackdown, NXT, two nights of Wrestlemania and Monday Night Raw.

Independent professional wrestling promoters hold similar events in the same city to draw fans. While not necessarily a ‘free-rider’ concept, it definitely helps to travel to the center of the universe for pro wrestling and have it all in one city. WWE World hopes to garner more market share and draw those attending independent shows to at least attend the WWE World setup.
