A lawsuit was filed by a former WWE employee against Vince McMahon which accuses him of sexual battery and trafficking. Janel Grant filed a lawsuit on Thursday claiming that McMahon used his position to forcibly rape her and exploit her to other employees.
Grant claimed that McMahon had hired her to work in the legal department but the employment was predicated by the former Executive Chairman having sexual relations with Grant. The lawsuit claims that zgrant had attempted to rebuff the sexual advances to no avail. The graphic depictions reflect a sick and disgusting relationship in which McMhon had control over Grant.
Text messages between the two also highlight the controlling relationship.
McMahon had sexual relations with Grant using toys he named after WWE superstars. Also, the lawsuit claims McMahon forced Grant to have thressomes with McMahon and others.
The encounters are graphic:
The lawsuit details that McMahon had Grant sign a nondisclosure agreement for $3 million. However, Grant states that she received just $1 million of the NDA and believes that it is a breach of the agreement. Hence, the lawsuit was filed by Grant.
A day after the news of the lawsuit, McMahon resigned as Executive Chairman of TKO Group Holdings, Inc. and his position on the Board of Directors.
There is also an inference that a “UFC Heavyweight Champion” was involved. One has to believe that it is Brock Lesnar. The details include a request that she make a video where she urine so that the indivdidual could watch.
The lawsuit also claims that WWE executives knew of the situation but concealed it. The claim seems to be corroborated by a tweet from Ronda Rousey.
Bruce Prichard is basically Vince’s avatar, if he’s still around Vince still has a hand in the business. Vince was still running things through Bruce when he was “gone” before

The ramifications of this for WWE, is that it may hold them out as liable for the situation. If executives either actively concealed and/or knew but did nothing to call attention to the matter, there could be consequences.
Also, scrutiny will be on the Audit Committee examination of McMahon’s departure in June 2022 and his subsequent return to the company in 2023. McMahon’s shares within the company made it hard for others to avoid the return but the examination into the investigation of his pay offs to women will be examined.
McMahon has denied the allegations and will likely offer up a defense that would claim the sexual acts were consensual. WWE has yet to respond to the lawsuit although you may assume it asked McMahon to step down.
This is a PR hit for WWE although I would not believe it to hurt the company in the short-term. The new media deal with Netflix should help investors belief in the financial viability of the company and with McMahon totally out of the company, it should help with the PR. I suspect WWE tries to settle quietly with Grant regardless of their liability to avoid a trial.
