The parties in the Major League Wrestling Media-World Wrestling Entertainment lawsuit have filed a Joint Notice of Settlement with the Court on Monday. The parties have effectively settled the case and the Court has halted all deadlines in MLW’s lawsuit against WWE.
MLW filed the lawsuit and it was later amended after the Court granted the promotion a chance to do so or else it would have been dismissed. In the First Amended Complaint, MLW argued predatory conduct on the part of WWE as it related to MLW’s chance to be on television.
Earlier this year, WWE filed a Motion to Dismiss MLW’s lawsuit but it was denied by the Court. Discovery had been taking place prior to the settlement.
