Dana White announced at the post-UFC295 event press conference that he has secured the rights to hold an event at The Sphere in Las Vegas Mexican Independence Day weekend. Presumably, it will be the first sporting event to be held at the venue.

The Sphere, located near the Venetian east of the Las Vegas Strip, is the new 18,600 seat auditorium which offers the latest in video and audio and includes a 16K resolution wraparound interior LED screen, speakers and 4D special effects.
White has glowed about the structure and in previous interviews indicated that he would like to hold an event there. It seems to have come to fruition with his announcement Saturday.
Top Rank Boxing has also expressed an interest in an event there.
The event, which is set for Mexican Independence Day weekend, will be the second time that the UFC has offered a big event this weekend. Traditionally, it had been secured for a boxing event. But, White has now taken over the tradition for MMA.
