364K viewers for Boots Ennis fight

Showtime Boxing on Saturday night drew an average of 364,000 viewers for the main event between Jaron “Boots” Ennis and Roiman Villa. Ennis stopped Villa in the 10th round.

The telecast peaked during this fight and tailed off once the fight was over. Also, the televised undercard fight between Yoelvis Gomez and Marquis Taylor drew 310,000 viewers.

These are respectable viewership averages for Ennis who is an up and coming star. The hometown crowd really helped him in one of his biggest bouts in his career.
