New WWE-UFC merger gets a name

CNBC first reported that the upcoming coming that will combine WWE and UFC will be called TKO Group Holdings (TKO).  The new sports entertainment company, with its stock ticker TKO,  will be publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange. 

According to the report Endeavor and WWE hope to create a sports entertainment giant valued at more than $20 billion.  Endeavor CEO Ari Emmanuel will be the CEO of TKO Group and Vince McMahon will be the executive chairman of TKO.  Endeavor will own 51% stake while WWE will get 49%.

In essence, nothing will change with the running of the companies except for the fact the name.
