Power Slap Episode 7 draws

March 11, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Power Slap Episode 7 drew 220,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily. The telecast finished 106th overall in cable for the night.

Notably, the lead-in, AEW Dynamite drew 858,000 viewers which was good enough for 4th overall in cable. Thus, a drop-off of over 600,000 viewers once the pro wrestling telecast went off the air.

Power Slap Episodes

Episode 1 259,000 viewers

Episode 2  413,000 viewers

Episode 3  284,000 viewers

Episode 4  275,000 viewers

Episode 5  309,000 viewers

Episode 6 277,000 viewers

Episode 7 220,000 viewers

Payout Perspective:

Its honestly amazing that this series drew over 200,000 viewers each week and had a high of 413,000 viewers. This is a reflection of the lack of interest. AEW Dynamite has been a mainstay in the top 5 of cable ratings on Wednesday and with that as a lead-in and the name behind this “sport” the ratings were not very good. Even with White announcing a second season in the middle east its hard to imagine this taking off any time soon.
