February 21, 2023 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Rampage drew only 287,000 viewers on Friday night as it was moved to the 4pm/7pm ET time slot on TNT due to NBA All-Star Coverage. The telecast made it to 59th overall in cable.

The NBA All-Star Weekend began on Friday night with All-Star festivities which included the NBA All-Star celebrity game which aired on ESPN at the same time as Rampage and was #1 in cable Friday night with 1.395M viewers. The Rising Stars game aired on TNT an hour after Rampage went off the air and drew 888,000 viewers and second in cable.

The telecast featured a tie-in with the NBA All-Star game coverage with The Elite battling Top Flight and AR Fox with the NBA All-Star Game t-shirts and basketballs. But, with the earlier time slot it mustered just 0.07 in the 18-49 demo and lowest ratings of all time.
