PBC Prelims on Fox does 546K viewers

September 7, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The PBC Prelims on Fox Sunday drew 546,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast aired prior to the Ruiz-Ortiz PPV.

The lead-in for the PBC Prelims on Fox was an MLS game which drew 492,000 viewers.

The prelims featured Joey Spencer as he defeated Kevin Salgado via unanimous decision in a battle of super welterweights.  Also, Ra’eese Aleem defeated Mike Plania via unanimous decision in a battle of bantamweights.

The ratings are somewhat low but on a Sunday afternoon during Labor Day weekend likely meant there were going to be less fans at home.  The audience actually went up from the MLS game to boxing.
