UFC agrees to deal with Amazon Merch on Demand

August 4, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Earlier this week, the UFC launched a partnership with Amazon Merch on Demand which will allow the company to sell original designs.

Amazon Merch on Demand is Amazon.com’s print-on-demand service.  It covers officially licensed UFC apparel and accessory products. The service allows content creators to upload their own designs and have them printed as merchandise whenever someone buys it.

The new deal builds upon the partnership the UFC has with Zappos.com which is an Amazon-owned property.

Payout Perspective:
The move is a way for the UFC to streamline its merchandise department as it makes an attempt to boost its sales.  Notably, it also forged  a deal where Fight Pass viewers can purchase merchandise without having to stop watching content. Not only will the moves hope to raise sale revenue, they are done in a way to make it cost effective for the company without spending a lot on the overhead.
