The attendance, gate and payouts are a reason why Francis Ngannou, who appeared post-fight with Fury, would want to box the heavyweight champion. The fact that Floyd Mayweather can still garner a captive core audience in his ‘post-fighting’ career is a reason why Fury-Ngannou exhibition is not out of the question.
The 94,000 that came out to Wembley Stadium is another reason why a boxer like Tyson Fury commands big purses. His ability to garner a huge following to fill-up a stadium reflects why boxing is still king in combat sports.
