Top Rank launches NFTs with Tom Brady company

April 13, 2022 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

The Sports Business Journal reports that Top Rank Boxing has partnered with Tom Brady’s NFT company to launch boxing NFTs.  The first set are being released Wednesday via auction on the DraftKings Marketplace.

The NFTs will include a one-for-one “Legends Up” NFT that has a minimum bid of $5,000 as well as several “Champion Up” collectibles that will have 5 of each made starting at $250.

Autograph, Brady’s NFT company has a list of top-level stars on its roster including Tiger Woods, Derek Jeter, Wayne Gretzky and Tony Hawk.  The company allows fans to purchase limited-edition digital collectibles.

The multiyear agreement includes Top Rank’s decades-long history of fights to mint new NFTs.

Payout Perspective:

The NFT experience is an opportunity for connection between Top Rank and its fans. Of course, this launch is selective based on the price points but it allows the company to get into the space working with Tom Brady’s company.
