Anderson Silva-Tito Ortiz to box Sept 11th via Triller

August 11, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Former UFC stars will collide in a boxing match at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. MMA Fighting first reported that the event will be a part of a Triller Fight Club PPV that will serve as an undercard for Oscar de la Hoya’s return against Vitor Belfort.

Silva is coming off of a win over Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr. this past June. The fight adds to the event featuring Oscar de la Hoya’s return.

Ortiz most recent claim to fame was his short stint as Mayor Pro Tem of Huntington Beach, California. He resigned shortly thereafter.

Payout Perspective:

This fight should add to the spectacle of what we know of Triller Fight Club events. Silva still looks in shape. The question will be what we will see of Ortiz.
