PBC Fight Night on Fox Saturday draws 636K

May 4, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC Fight Night on Fox drew 636,000 viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The post-show which aired immediately after drew 642,000 viewers.

The two-hour telecast which served as the prelims to the Fox PPV featuring Andy Ruiz drew 176,000 viewers and a household rating of 0.41.

The prelims featured Erislandy Lara as he made short work of Thomas Lamanna to win the vacant World Boxing Association middleweight title.

The telecast drew a 1.8 share in the M18-49 demo, 1.1 in over 50 category and 0.14 in the A18-49 demo.  PBC Fight Night went up against the Kentucky Derby on NBC which drew 14.3 million viewers overall.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings are decent and reflects well on the PPV later that night.  Even opposite the Kentucky Derby, boxing did well on network television.  The brief feature fight likely was the reason for the bigger audience in the post-fight ratings.
