WWE NXT draws 840K viewers in 2nd week without AEW competition

April 26, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE NXT drew 840,000 viewers last Tuesday on the USA Network.  The ratings improve upon its first week where the telecast moved to the new night.

WWE NXT drew 0.23 in the A18-49 demo, 0.19 in the F18-49, 0.27, 0.10 in the A18-34, 0.09 F12-34, 0.15 in M12-34. It drew 0.27 in the A25-54 demo and 0.41 in the over 50 category.

It was the second week in the new night for WWE NXT and it appears that the move is helping with viewership.  In its debut week the broadcast drew 805,000 viewers and this past week it improved upon the ratings.

Payout Perspective:

The new night is helping with generating a little more interest in the live viewership of NXT.  AEW is also benefiting from the lack of competition on Wednesday nights as its first two telecasts without NXT on the other channel has produced viewership over 1 million.  We shall see if NXT can ascend to 1 million viewers on Tuesday.
