TrillerNet, the parent company to Triller has purchased Fite TV. The deal reflects the company’s goal to expand Triller Fight Club. Notably, its next event takes place this Saturday.
Per Triller press release:
“The deal gives Triller a major foothold in the live-event PPV and streaming space, greatly expanding the reach of Triller’s fast-growing AI-powered content and distribution ecosystem and allowing the company to continue to invest in new lifestyle and entertainment programming.”
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Payout Perspective:
The acquisition will help Triller with distribution and push its brand of combat sports and entertainment PPV. We shall see with their next two to three PPVs if ‘celebrity-type’ fights, plus an undercard mix of prospects and music entertainment is the winning mix to draw a fan-base as well as a younger demo.
