Bellator MMA on Showtime ratings

April 5, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

Bellator MMA made its debut on Showtime this past Friday night.  Its highest rating was 167,000 viewers making it 110 overall in cable ratings this past Friday per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

It drew 161,000 viewers in the 10:59pm time period for 15 minutes.

Prior to that it drew 124,000 viewers in the 10:25pm time period for 11 minutes.

It drew 98,000 viewers in the 9:50pm time period for 20 minutes.

The 167,000 viewers were during the 10:36 time period for 23 minutes.

No other time segments made the top 150 in cable for Friday.

Payout Perspective:

It’s hard to say what to make of the viewership numbers until we see the next couple weeks to determine what kind of baseline Bellator has on Showtime.  This past Friday had a strong main event with Pitbull Friere taking on Emmanuel Sanchez.  Yet, that barely registered in viewership numbers.
