WWE Friday Night Smackdown averages 2.07M viewers

February 21, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew 2.038M viewers in the first hour and 2.105M viewers in the second hour per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  The telecast was up from last week.

The telecast drew a 0.5 in the A18-49 demo over the course of the two hours.  It drew a 5 share in M18-49.

Friday night belonged once again to the CBS lineup of MacGyver (4.839M) and Magnum P.I. (5.870M) in the 8-10pm time slot.  Shark Tank also posted 4.4M overall viewers in the 8-9pm hour.

The 0.5 A18-49 demo for Smackdown reflects a 0.1 decrease from last week.

Payout Perspective:

SmackDown ratings improved slightly over last week as the storylines focus on this weekend’s PPV and a continued march toward Wrestlemania.  The decrease in A18-49 demo share should be something to watch as the company enters its most important quarter.
