WWE Friday Night Smackdown draws over 2M viewers

January 17, 2021 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew an average of 2.15 million viewers this past Friday night.  This past Friday’s telecast saw a decrease from the first to second hour.

Smackdown drew 2.2 million viewers in the first hour and 2.105 million viewers in the second hour.  It drew 0.6 in the A18-49 demo and a 5 share in the M18-49 category.

The telecast found itself in fourth past in ratings to CBS, ABC and NBC.  This past week, NBC aired U.S. Figure Skating Championship which drew 2.4 million viewers opposite Smackdown’s first hour and 2 million opposite the second hour.

CBS lineup once again ruled Friday night averaging 4.5 million viewers between the 8-10pm time slots and ABC averaged 4.1 with a combination of Shark Tank and 20/20.

Payout Perspective:

Friday night saw a lot of viewers tuning into network television and WWE stayed above 2 million viewers for its two hour telecast.
