AEW 850K, NXT 638K

November 20, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW Dynamite on TNT surged back atop the cable ratings on Wednesday night placing 7th overall and drawing 850,000 overall viewers per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.  NXT fared well but placed 56th and drew 638,000 viewers on the USA Network.

WWE NXT drew 638,000 viewers and a household rating of 0.14.  AEW Dynamite on TNT drew 850,000 viewers with a 0.37 household rating (A18-49 demo).  It also drew 0.46 in the M18-49 demo, 0.41 in the A25-54 and over 0.27 in the over 50 category.

Payout Perspective:

Wednesday night was dominated by the NBA Draft on ESPN.  While the draft experienced low ratings versus past years due to the virtual nature of the draft, it still was the best in the younger demos.  AEW and NXT both improved over last week with Dynamite improving much more.
