PBC Fight Night on Saturday holds its own despite stiff competition

November 10, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC Fight Night on Fox Saturday night drew 982,000 viewers in the first hour and 1.048 million in the second hour per Nielsen via ShowBuzz Daily.

The event featured heavyweights with Luis Ortiz making short work of Alexander Flores with a KO in the first round.

The event drew a 0.3 rating in the A18-49 demo and a 2 share for M18-49.  It drew a 1 share for adults over 50.  The event coincided with the Notre Dame-Clemson game which drew over 10 million viewers at one point as well as President-elect Joe Biden’s speech on all networks.  Also, ABC aired the Stanford-Oregon game.

The fast overnights for PBC Fight night saw it draw 1.215 in the first hour and drop to 875,000 in the first hour.

The overall average of the event was 982,000 viewers.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings show a little bit of recalibration for the viewership although in hung tough especially up against some stiff competition.  The event had little to no overrun due to the quick knockout by Ortiz.  It is the second-best PBC on Fox show since its return from the pandemic.
