PBC on Fox tops out at 1.067M viewers for Lara-Vendetti

September 2, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC on Fox drew 832,000 viewers on Saturday night according to Nielsen Media Research.  The event averaged 226,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.

PBC on Fox was overshadowed up against NASCAR on NBC Saturday night.  In Fast Nationals the event drew 713,000 in the first hour and 826,000 viewers in the second hour.

The event was headlined by Erislandy Lara as he defeated Greg Vendetti.  The show peaked with 1.067M viewers with the Lara-Vendetti fight averaging 1.042M viewers.

Payout Perspective:

The telecast was slightly higher than the Shawn Porter-Sebastian Formella headlined event a couple weeks earlier.  Even though it did better in its second try upon its return to network, there are glaring issues as to why its not achieving ratings on par with the UFC or other sports that appear on the network.
