PBC on Fox draws 810,000 viewers – lowest-rated telecast ever on network

August 26, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

PBC on Fox drew 810,000 viewers on Saturday night making it the lowest-rated telecast on Fox since it starting airing on the network.  It drew 218,000 viewers in the A18-49 demo.

The event featured Shawn Porter as he defeated Sebastian Formella in a welterweight matchup from Los Angeles.   The ratings reflect the low ratings in the fast nationals which drew just 562,000 viewers in hour 1 and 726,000 in hour 2.

According to Boxing Scene, the event peaked at 1.225 million viewers with an average of 1.077M during Porter-Formella.

A PBC card on FS1 held later that night drew just 121,000 viewers.

Payout Perspective:

The ratings have to be of some concern for PBC as its viewership is decreasing and the younger demo is non-existent.  Compared to AEW on TNT, which was not airing on its usual night, it still drew 755,000 viewers and almost double in the younger demo – 407,000.
