Smackdown improves with over 2M viewers in hour 2

August 17, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew 1.932 million viewers in the first hour and 2.025 million viewers in hour 2.

The viewership was up over the previous week and improved from hour to hour.  Smackdown did draw the highest viewership in the A18-49 demo in the 8-9pm time slot and tied for the highest in the 9-10pm time slot.  It also drew a 5 share in the male 18-49 demo which was the best on network on Friday night.

Payout Perspective:

A good sign of viewership increasing as the company gears toward Summerslam this Sunday. The ratings have steadily increased the last couple weeks which is a good sign.
