UFC athletes Tim Elliott and Jamahal Hill face suspensions after testing positive for marijuana from their fights on May 30th at The Apex in Las Vegas.
The two will face the Nevada Athletic Commission on Wednesday to address the issue as they face the possibility of a longer suspension and overturning of their wins from UFC on ESPN 9.
Tim Elliott took to twitter to apologize for his positive test.

Hill scored an impressive KO victory in the very first round of his matchup with Klidson Abreu. Elliott submitted Brandon Royval in his fight.
Payout Perspective: It’s likely that the two fighters were flagged by USADA as well although they do not make that information public until resolution. While Nevada enhanced the punishment for marijuana use a couple years ago, it has been considering the violation minimal and handing out six-month suspension for use. In the case of Elliott, taking the fight short notice may mitigate circumstances. Still, with a NAC and USADA suspension looming, both fighters are likely out until the end of the year
