UFC on ESPN 13 draws 536K Wednesday night

July 16, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

UFC on ESPN drew 536,000 viewers according to Nielsen Media Research via ShowBuzz Daily.  The prelims drew 434,000 viewers on ESPN.

The event featured Calvin Kattar as he faced Dan Ige.  The prelims featured some good action as for a mid-week event.

The prelims drew 0.17 in the A18-49 and 0.27 in the M18-49 demo.  The main card drew 0.22 and 0.33 respectively.  Both main card and prelims drew lows in the over 50 demo.

Payout Perspective:

It was the lowest output in ratings for the UFC since it returned to the Octagon this past May.  With the lack of big names on the card coupled with the fact that the event took place mid-week, the ratings would be lower than the other Saturday events.  Notably, the viewership was still higher than that of the cards held by Top Rank on ESPN every Tuesday and Thursday.
