UFC on ESPN 10 took place on Saturday night at the UFC Apex. There were four Performance of the Night winners.
Tyson Nam, Christian Aguilera, Martin Vettori and Mariya Agapova earned the $50,000 bonuses. All earned stoppages in the very first round.
Aguilera and Nam led off the prelims with KO wins to start the telecast. Notably, Julia Avila earned a 22-second TKO on the prelims as well.
Payout Perspective:
Clearly the smaller cage seems to be doing something about keeping the action going. One may ask whether the early KOs may be due to the cage, motivated fighters or perhaps mismatches in matchmaking due to the limited roster depth without the ability of international fighters to travel.
