AEW 677K, NXT 673,000

June 11, 2020 by Jason Cruz Leave a Comment

AEW scored another narrow ratings victory on Wednesday drawing 677,000 viewers while WWE’s NXT drew 673,000.  AEW scored higher in the 18-49 demo with a 0.23 rating versus NXT’s 0.16 rating.

In addition, AEW drew higher in the younger demos:

A18-49 0.23, F18-49 0.15, M18-49 0.31, P18-34 0.10, F12-34 0.06, M12-34 0.14, P25-54 0.28, Over 50 0.31

WWE’s NXT Brand beat AEW in the over 50 category but that was about it

A18-49 0.16, F18-49 0.12, M18-49 0.21, P18-34 0.07, F12-34 0.04, M12-34 0.13, P25-54 0.20, Over 50 0.36

Payout Perspective:

The two telecasts are drawing close to each other in overall ratings although the younger demo is owned by AEW.  Conversely, WWE Friday Night Smackdown usually owns the younger demo pitted against other network telecasts.
